Tella in Huesca is the aragonese town preferred by witches to celebrate their Sabbaths and spells. The connections Tella has with witches can be seen today in a museum devoted to them.
There are various stories concerning the presnce of witches in Tella and the witches dance is still performed there. Of all the stories there is only one that has a warlock as protagonist.
The story goes that the people of Tella asked a warlock for help when a storm caused landslides that blocked the main road into the village. Not only did the warlock offer to help but he said he could move the large rock blocking the road by himself, as long as nobody watched him do it. In exchange for this the warlock demanded that the villagers would never ask him to help in jobs involving the community again. Once his conditions were accepted the warlock moved the rock in no time and even put it back up on the hillside so that it wouldn’t fall again.
